Lindsey Johnson

Lindsey is the founder of Copani, a travel platform dedicated to regenerative agritourism and sustainable food tourism. Leveraging her diverse experience supporting programs focused on public health, sustainable development, and community resilience in both government and non-profit sectors, Lindsey brings a unique perspective to the tourism industry. In addition to Copani, Lindsey serves as the Program Coordinator for the Soil & Climate Alliance, a supply chain working group committed to scaling regenerative agriculture across North America.

Lindsey was inspired to start Copani after her internship with Solimar International, which highlighted the role tourism can play in promoting sustainable development. She also serves on the Sustainable and Regenerative Agriculture and Agritourism committee of the Global Agritourism Network and is a RT+ Change Maker Member through Regenerative Travel.

Rooted in her background in Peace and Conflict Studies, Lindsey believes in the power of food to connect people and foster cross-cultural understanding. Through Copani, she is on a mission to empower travelers to explore the world in a way that supports sustainable food systems and destination communities, ultimately contributing to a more equitable and thriving global community.
